An annual cowboy festival held since 1912, in mid-July is an incredible spectacle each year, brings together about 250 spectators and participants. Carefully directed show is probably the biggest rodeo in the world.

The rodeo competitions held daily (dressage stallions, bulls, bison, branding of cattle, tethering calves, wrestling with the young bulls, ammunition cows, milking wild cows) you need to buy a separate ticket (8 C $ for all day) although if someone did not take care of this before (see below), can only count on very distant locations from which little can be seen. Qualifying for the rodeo are held through the first eight days and finals – on Saturday and Sunday. The first prize is 50,000$

When you are deciding to come to the festival, you need to book accommodation early enough. Tickets for the rodeo and racing cars are sold even with an year in advance. The most important part of the event the rodeo is held at Stampede Park. Main attractions include: American Indian village on the edge of the park, John Deere Show Ring (professions blacksmiths), Centennial Fair (fair for children), the exhibition of cattle and other animals breeding in the Agricultural Building, the night of country music concerts at Coca-Cola Stage.
